Top 50 Farmers is an acceleration platform paving the way for regenerative agriculture to be scaled from soil to gut. We identify the farmers who are role modeling what the future of farming looks like and share their stories. We also connect them with industry executives and pioneering thought leaders to unlock new opportunities across the value chain.

We are born out of collective action
Just a few cents from restaurant meals or other food purchases in aggregate can create acres and acres of healthy soil and shift us from the extractive “conventional” agricultural system to a regenerative food system.
Foodprint Nordic enables restaurants, bars, and canteens to reinvest in regenerative supply chains. Members add 1% to customer’s bills, which goes into the Restore Fund funding farming projects that are pushing the regenerative agenda by scaling their work or making the transition to regenerative practices.
In doing so, Foodprint Nordic members are securing the future of their business by investing in the producers that ensure their supply chain and who also grow delicious, nutrient-dense ingredients.
For each farming project, Foodprint Nordic measures soil microbiology (soil food web) and carbon levels over 3 years to show the impact and progress. Foodprint Nordic is also pushing the agenda for measuring nutrient density as they believe that this will be important for the future of scaling a regenerative food system that is benefiting both people and the planet.

Our mantra is “no farmers, no food.” For us to scale regenerative agriculture, we need more farmers joining the movement .
So far we have funded 7 projects in the Nordics and we want to fund more. We believe that farmers are our future and we are excited to support Top 50 Farmers in a pan-European approach to spotlight the pioneering work that is already happening and bring more farmers onto the field.
