Top 50 Farmers is an acceleration platform paving the way for regenerative agriculture to be scaled from soil to gut. We identify the farmers who are role modeling what the future of farming looks like and share their stories. We also connect them with industry executives and pioneering thought leaders to unlock new opportunities across the value chain.
Since 2019, Philippe has been working to scale regenerative agriculture in Europe.
Phillipe is the Co-Founder of Climate Farmers, which supports 700 farmers in 16 different European countries in the transition towards regenerative agriculture by providing a supportive community, context specific transition knowledge, and transition finance in the form of carbon and biodiversity credits.
Philippe is a part of Ashoka's Changemaker community, the BMW Foundation's Responsible Leader network, TED Countdown, Viva con Agua and the Love Foundation, which he co-founded in 2013.
Philippe is also passionate about bringing the principles of regenerative leadership into his own life. When he is not attending events or visiting farmers, he is living in the Serra da Estrella mountain range in central Portugal where he is rebuilding an abandoned village into a music and art residency combined with a regenerative farm.
Philippe is a graduate of the Regenerative Leadership program and holds a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Maastricht University.
