Top 50 Farmers is an acceleration platform paving the way for regenerative agriculture to be scaled from soil to gut.
We identify the farmers who are role modeling what the future of farming looks like and share their stories. We also connect them with industry executives and pioneering thought leaders to unlock new opportunities across the value chain.

Elodie Vanden Avenne is the founder of ORON, an initiative working to help farmers access land through shared ownership models.

She founded ORON from the conviction that farmers are central to building more resilient agricultural systems, but are too often held back by limited access to land, rising land prices and financial structures that do not match the long-term nature of farming.

Elodie brings a background in investments, real estate-backed lending and growth strategy consulting, including her work at Simon-Kucher. This experience shaped her understanding of how capital flows, ownership models and financial incentives influence what becomes possible on the ground.

Through ORON, she focuses on connecting patient capital with farmers who are ready to steward land over the long term. Her work explores how shared ownership can create more secure pathways into farming, support regenerative transitions and give farmers the stability they need to invest in soil, biodiversity, infrastructure and community relationships.

By reconnecting land, capital and stewardship, Elodie is working to build financial models that serve farmers and the landscapes they care for.
