Raiza Rezende

Top 50 Farmers is an acceleration platform paving the way for regenerative agriculture to be scaled from soil to gut.
We identify the farmers who are role modeling what the future of farming looks like and share their stories. We also connect them with industry executives and pioneering thought leaders to unlock new opportunities across the value chain.

Raiza Rezende works at the intersection of agriculture, food systems and human health, with a particular focus on regenerative agriculture and nutrient density.

With a background in chemical engineering and a diploma in naturopathic nutrition, her work connects scientific, nutritional and farming perspectives on how food is grown, understood and valued.

Raiza has spent seven years working across five European countries in a wide range of farming contexts, including permaculture, syntropic agriculture, agroforestry, holistic management, rotational grazing, market gardening and intensive tree systems. Her experience includes working directly with Ernst Götsch, whose approach to syntropic agriculture has shaped regenerative farming practices around the world.

She is co-founder of Agrosystemic, a regenerative agriculture consultancy supporting large-scale transitions, and RHEA, an organisation working to advance education, communication and advocacy around Agri-Health at EU level. Across both organisations, Raiza’s work is driven by a central question: how can agriculture regenerate landscapes while also producing food that better supports human health?

Her perspective brings together practical farming experience, systems thinking and a deep commitment to reconnecting soil, food and wellbeing.
