Top 50 Farmers is a farmer-first accelerator program designed to empower, connect, and elevate regenerative farmers across Europe.
Each year, we open applications to find 50 more role models to join the community, creating a blueprint for what regenerative farming can look like.
The farmers gain access to a 1-year program and alumni network with opportunities to grow their network, mindset, business, and brand.

A Year To Support
Your Growth
The Top 50 Farmers’ program is tailored to each cohort. We start the year by hosting listening sessions identify what is needed to support each farmer’s work and building an ecosystem of support from there.
We then enter a growing season with monthly virtual sessions on different themes of core interest to the group. From financing to branding, funding to mental health, there is something for everyone. Through online and in-person events, you will build relationships and learn from other farmers in your group, Top 50 Farmers alumni, and experts.
At the end of the program, you harvest the relationships, knowledge, and visibility you have gained and enter the Giving Season, becoming a part of the alumni community and passing the torch on to the next fifty farmers.
Stage 4: Alignment Review
The Top 50 Farmers Advisory Board reviews the results to raise any concerns, ties, or strategic considerations to ensure broad diversity and representation in the cohort.
Stage 5: Results Shared with Applicants
All applicants will receive a reply from Top 50 Farmers about the status of their application beginning of March 2026.
The Announcement Ceremony will be held on March 17, 2026.

The fifty farmers are invited to join the Recognition Program, a year-long journey with opportunities to grow their business, brand, and learn from one another.

Every year, we open applications to find 50 new role models to join the community creating a blueprint for what regenerative farming can look like across Europe.
The selected 50 farmers gain access to a 1-year program with opportunities to grow network, mindset, connections and opportunities for the farm business and brand.

You're eligible to apply for Top 50 Farmers if:
Your farm is located in the EU, Switzerland, EEA or UK.
You’ve been applying regenerative practices for at least one year
Your farm is registered as a business.
Your crops spend most of their life in soil.
If your farm is transitioning to regenerative management, you must have a clear vision and timeline for phasing out agrochemicals and synthetic fertilizers

Frequently Asked Questions
Applications for Top 50 Farmers opens every November. Fifty farmers are invited to join the program annually. The program is free. Farmers are welcome to apply multiple times if not selected in their first application. Scroll down to read more about the application process and timeline.

We know it takes many hands to run a farm, but we ask that you select one representative in a leadership position to complete the application. This ensures clear communication and consistent information between your farm and Top 50 Farmers.
The chosen representative serves as your farm’s main contact and will be featured in Top 50 Farmers’ official communications and materials. At the same time, everyone on your team is welcome to join the Recognition Program. Your team will also be mentioned in the communication materials.
Yes! Participation in Top 50 Farmers is completely free for the selected farmers. The program runs for one year starting immediately after the Announcement Ceremony. After completing the program, farmers join the Top 50 Farmers alumni network.
In Top 50 Farmers, acceleration does not mean faster growth or scaling for its own sake. It means creating the conditions that allow committed and leading farmers to make the best decisions for their business, lives and stay in farming for generations.
No, the strength of Top 50 Farmers is not to provide technical farming education, but to support the broader context around decision-making, business development, visibility, resilience and personal growth. With that said, many of the Top 50 Farmers use our community platform to reach out to and connect with other farmers in their cohort as well as the alumni to visit each other, exchange knowledge, and ask for support.

Stage 1: Application Phase
Applications open on November 4, 2025 at 00:00:00. The deadline to apply is November 23, 2025, at 23:59 CET (midnight).
To ensure each application receives the attention it deserves, we are limiting the total number of applications to 150. We encourage you to submit yours as early as possible.
Stage 5: Final Review
The Top 50 Farmers Advisory Board reviews the results to raise any concerns, ties, or strategic considerations to ensure broad diversity and representation.
Stage 5: Results Shared with Applicants
All applicants will receive a reply from Top 50 Farmers about the status of their application by mid to end February 2026.
The Recognition Ceremony announcing the Top 50 Farmers 2026 cohort will be held in March 2026.
